BroadBand Light Treatments
BBL HEROic is an effective solution for reversing the appearance of aging and environmental damage, restoring your skin to a healthier, more youthful state. BBL HEROic is Sciton’s next-generation BroadBand Light® treatment. This advanced pulsed light technology effectively targets a broad spectrum of skin conditions anywhere on the body to enhance skin tone, texture, elasticity, and overall appearance.
BBL Therapy Results
A week or two after a BBL HEROic treatment, your skin will appear more even, youthful, glowing, and smooth. Visible results can be seen in just 1 to 2 treatments, while optimal results are generally seen after completing a series of treatments spaced a few weeks apart. Your skin will continue to improve in the weeks and months following your BBL HEROic sessions.
The treatment is a powerful, minimal-to-no-downtime solution for sun damage, rosacea, redness, dullness, pigmented lesions, vascular issues, and other skin quality issues.
Research shows that patients who maintain a regular regimen of BBL treatments can reduce and delay the long-term appearance of aging skin, such as photodamage, telangiectasias, and skin elasticity, in a natural-looking way.
Moxi Laser Face Treatments
A gentle approach to revitalizing your skin’s appearance by correcting uneven pigmentation and improving tone and texture. Moxi Laser treatment can comfortably deliver non-ablative laser energy to refresh your skin, correcting the initial signs of sun damage and aging, no matter the season or your skin type.
Moxi Laser Results
Results vary depending on your treatment goals. The day after your treatment, your skin may appear red, and depending on your level of treatment, you may see small microdots called mends where the laser was applied. As the micro zones heal, they will darken and feel rough. Between days 3-5, the mends will slough off, revealing the renewed skin beneath.

Moxi Treatments & BBL Laser FAQs
How often do I need laser treatments?
This will depend on your treatment goals and the extent of your skin damage. Most patients receive 3-4 corrective Moxi Laser treatments, then they often will sign up for regular maintenance sessions throughout the year.
Should I do routine light therapy?
Your provider will work with you to create a customized treatment plan that addresses your specific skin revitalization needs. Typically, a series of three treatments, spaced approximately three weeks apart, is recommended. Once you have reached your goals, periodic maintenance treatments will help keep your skin healthy and glowing.
Does light therapy help with aging?
Yes, with regular BroadBand Light treatments, you can reduce and delay the long-term signs of aging, such as sagging skin, fine lines, and wrinkles.
Can laser treatments remove acne scars?
What skin conditions can be treated with BBL HEROic?
Can I combine light and laser therapy?
What is the difference between light and laser therapy?
BroadBand Light uses intense pulsed light rather than a laser. It delivers a broad spectrum of light wavelengths to target pigmentation, redness, and superficial vascular issues in the skin. BBL treatment works by heating specific skin components to stimulate skin repair and collagen.
Moxi Laser therapy is a non-ablative fractional laser that creates thousands of microscopic thermal zones in the skin without removing the top layer, which triggers collagen production and remodeling of skin tissue. Moxi primarily targets skin texture, tone, and fine wrinkles, with some improvement to superficial acne scars.
Who can get Moxi laser treatment?
Anyone, men or women, younger or more mature adults. We will review your medical and cosmetic history and help determine a treatment plan that best suits your needs and skin when you visit our med spa in Issaquah, Washington.
What are post-care tips for BBL therapy?
- Skin sensitivity: Your skin may feel mildly sunburned, but this typically subsides within 48 hours.
- Healing process: You might notice temporary darkening of pigmented areas, along with some redness and swelling. These are part of the natural healing process, where damaged cells are replaced by new ones, repairing your skin.
- Post-treatment care: Follow your provider’s advice, avoid direct sun exposure, and wear broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen to protect the skin, especially during the first 72 hours post-treatment. Depending on the skin’s pre-existing condition, mild discomfort, dryness, or minor crusting may occur.
- Skincare and makeup: You can typically resume using skincare products and makeup within 1-2 days post-treatment.
What areas of the body can BBL HEROic treat?
BBL HEROic can be performed anywhere on the face or body.
