Daxxify® is the latest FDA-approved neuromodulator for non-surgical facial enhancement. This injectable is commonly used to address fine lines and wrinkles and to achieve natural-looking facial contouring.
Daxxify® is one of the longer-lasting neurotoxins, made with peptides to improve skin texture post-injection. It does not contain any human or animal byproducts nor complex proteins. Our patients typically see the initial results as early as one to two days post-op, and it can last for around four months.
What are Daxxify® Injections?
Daxxify® joins the ranks of neuromodulators like Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin® as a minimally invasive solution for facial wrinkles and a range of facial contouring concerns. While it contains the same active ingredient as Dysport®, Botox®, and Xeomin®, Daxxify® is the only injectable neuromodulator that is free of complexing proteins and human serum albumin, making it the purest neuromodulator formulation available.

First, Sherisse will meticulously select the optimal injection sites for your treatment. She will then use a tiny needle to inject a precise dose of Daxxify® where needed to achieve your desired results. Most patients report minimal discomfort with Daxxify® injections, though a topical anesthetic can be applied at the start of the appointment to ensure a comfortable treatment experience.
Daxxify® Injections Recovery Info
There is no recovery period or downtime with Daxxify®. Many patients opt to schedule Daxxify® treatments during their lunch break and return to work immediately after their appointment. Post-treatment redness or swelling at the injection sites can occur but is typically mild and short-lived.
You will be advised not to massage the treatment area for at least four hours after your injections, and you should wait 24 hours before resuming high-intensity exercise.

What is the difference between Daxxify® and Botox®?
Daxxify® and Botox® are both neuromodulators, but they differ mainly in how long they last and how they’re formulated.
- Longevity: Daxxify® typically lasts up to 6 months or longer, while Botox® lasts about 3–4 months.
- Formula: Daxxify® uses a unique peptide-powered formula that extends its duration. Botox® uses a traditional formulation that does not contain this peptide.
- Results: Both smooth fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing targeted muscles, but Daxxify® may be a better option if you want longer-lasting results with fewer yearly treatments.
Are Daxxify® and Dysport® the same?
No. While Daxxify® and Dysport® are both neuromodulators made from botulinum toxin type A, they are not the same. Dysport has a slightly different formula and diffusion characteristics, making it especially useful for larger treatment areas, such as the forehead. Daxxify, on the other hand, is distinguished by its peptide formulation, which gives it greater longevity.
Can I combine Daxxify® with other injectables?
